The problem with headliner sag is, it's not the glue that's failing. It's the foam material that you're trying 're-glue' the fabric to, it's dissolving into dust. The only way to truly fix it, is to fix it. Correctly. Which involves removing the headliner, removing the remnants of the old foam, glue in new foam and then glue on new fabric.

Second had smaller ones and got missed and it ended up having to be replaced a 3rd time but after quite a few weeks in there for the 3rd replacement all is good.
